Hey there! I’m Vicki and Girl Without Borders is my first major attempt at getting back to doing things that are rewarding and gratifying to me.

Undoubtedly, I’m passionate about travel. I LOVE to eat. I enjoy a good cocktail. And I’m a writer. These four things make me happy and Girl Without Borders is my personal yet public diary showcasing all of my passions.

I should also mention that I am not a travel or food snob. I love international travel, but this blog is not all about laying on beaches and standing on mountaintops in some exotic country (although I definitely do do this). I enjoy domestic travel as much as international travel.

This blog is about my experience and my happiness in a new city, because that is what truly validates the location… not the other way around.
